Artist and Stylist
Ryan Davis is a New York–born stylist and visual artist whose work moves fluidly between fashion and art. He began his career assisting on celebrity covers and fashion editorials for OUT Magazine before co-founding IDOL Magazine in London, where he served as Editor-at-Large. At IDOL, Ryan styled and curated covers, editorials, and special projects, and later published two coffee-table books with the magazine: Forever Young (2016) and Freedom’17 (2018).
Ryan’s practice blends instant and digital photography, often merging the two to create the layered textures that define his work. Through collage, moving image, and video, he places fashion, kink, and the human body at the center of his storytelling, celebrating individuality, sexuality, and freedom of expression.
In Fall 2025, Ryan served as an Artist-in-Residence at the Tom of Finland Foundation in Los Angeles, where he prepared his first solo exhibition, Muses, Lovers, & In-Between, and introduced his ongoing series Ethereal Intimacy.
He is currently available for styling special projects and accepting commissions on portraits.
